About me

What I love most

The people, without a doubt. The customers I meet, the conversations we have, and the regulars who've become real friends. I love the variety of travelling to different markets and events, and I've found a wonderful community of fellow traders along the way, especially some brilliant women.

The beads

Every design is built around handmade ceramic beads from a small family of makers I've become good friends with. I buy in small batches, and every bead is made by hand with its own finish, so no two are quite the same, and no two of my pieces are either.

How I work

I make all my pieces by hand here at home in Devon, and take them along to markets and events. And of course they're here in my online shop too.

I also love making to order. If you spot something you love but want it in a different colour, a different size, or you'd like a matching pair of earrings for something you've bought before, just get in touch. Lots of my orders come from people I've met at markets who get back in touch. It's one of my favourite parts of what I do.

Every piece arrives gift-boxed with a handwritten note from me.

Come and say hello

I trade at markets and festivals across a big stretch of the country. You'll find me all around Devon, from Exeter Cathedral and beyond, and down into Cornwall, with regular markets in Fowey during the season and the big Golowan Festival in Penzance. In Dorset I'm often in Sherborne, Weymouth and Dorchester, I head over to Christchurch and Highcliffe near Bournemouth, and I go as far up as Tewkesbury.

It means I meet people from all over. I've met customers at a market in Christchurch one week, then bumped into them again at a market in Fowey the next, which always makes us both laugh.

See where I'll be next, follow along on Instagram, or start an order made just for you.
